Solar Turbines 2025 IAM Labor Negotiations
This site is aimed to be a resource for those with questions or seeking more information as it relates to Solar’s 2025 negotiations with IAM Local 389.
Solar IAM 2025 Negotiation Updates
- On Tuesday, May 13, eligible union members voted on the Tentative Agreement between Solar and the IAM.
- The vote resulted in a XX% rejection to XX% acceptance, meaning that the company offer was rejected by a majority vote.
- We believe this to be a competitive offer. It is important to note that the $5,000 lump sum is conditioned on an on-time ratification, on or before May 19, 2025. Should the contract not be ratified by this time, the $5,000 lump sum payment would be void.
- Below are the highlights of the recent tentative agreement. Also, while we remain open to engage in further discussions with the union, we will not be increasing the value of our offer since this was a last, best and final offer. We do look forward to an agreement that positions Solar and our employees to compete, meet customer commitments and succeed long into the future.
