Nor could we quantify the number of lives made better by those projects.

Here’s what we do know: For 100 years, people using Caterpillar products and services have played a significant role in addressing society’s growing needs for safe shelter, clean water, reliable power and global connection — and they will continue to do so in the decades to come. Yes, we’re proud of what we make. But we’re even more proud of what it makes possible.
