Contingency Planning

It makes good business sense to plan for any scenario – including a work stoppage – that may impact operations and our customer commitments. As we approach negotiations, we will bargain in good faith and hope to avoid a work stoppage, but that is still a possibility that requires planning.

Our intention is to be prepared to meet our long-standing commitments to our customers. This is no different than how we plan for other potential business disruptions.

That is why we have taken steps to prepare a contingent workforce made up of support, management and contract workers should a work stoppage occur.

We aim to reach an agreement that positions Solar, our facilities and our employees
to compete, meet customer commitments and succeed long into the future.
