Caterpillar in Thailand

Cat® products have been helping our customers in Thailand with infrastructure projects for more than five decades. In 2011, Caterpillar invested in two manufacturing facilities in the Rayong province in the eastern region of Thailand. Our Caterpillar Rayong Tractor facility manufactures medium track-type tractors used in road construction, forestry, general construction and mining projects. The Caterpillar Underground Mining facility produces loaders and mining trucks used in hard-rock mining operations. In addition to these facilities, Solar Turbines, Cat Financial, and SPM Oil and Gas also have a presence in the region to better serve our Thailand customers.

Since 2013, the Caterpillar Foundation has continued to invest in local not-for-profit organizations in Thailand to improve basic human needs, promote environmental awareness and enhance education in schools.
