Wendi Gentry is senior vice president of Caterpillar Inc. with responsibility for the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD). This division includes Caterpillar’s worldwide parts distribution and integrated logistics organizations, encompassing inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing functions, packaging, container management, and product support. In addition, PSLD has responsibility for Global Service, which brings together service functions from across the Enterprise into a single organization aligned to serve our customers, dealers, and enterprise partners efficiently and effectively.
Before her appointment as senior vice president of PSLD, Gentry served as the Resource Industries Supply Management (RISM) vice president and prior to that, vice president of Global Integrated Logistics for the Services, Distribution, and Digital segment within Caterpillar.
Gentry joined Caterpillar in 2019 from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where she served as Head of Supply Chain Management for North America. During her over 25 years in the automotive industry, she gained extensive supply chain experience in the areas of Manufacturing, Purchasing, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Transportation, Private Fleet Management, Supplier Capacity Management, Supplier Risk Management, Supplier Quality, Trade Policy and Customs Operations.
Gentry received her undergraduate degree from Kettering University and her MBA from Michigan State University.
