George A. Moubayed
George Moubayed is a senior vice president of Caterpillar Inc., responsible for Customer Solutions Core Regions Division within Construction Industries. In this role, he provides leadership for the commercial team that engages closely with construction and quarry customers across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. This team is focused on solving customer challenges with solutions leveraging Cat-branded products, services, digital, technology and more.
Prior to this role, Moubayed served as chief sustainability and strategy officer and senior vice president of the Enterprise Strategy Division. He’s also previously held several senior leadership positions in Resource Industries, including vice president of aftermarket solutions and general manager for load and haul products.
Moubayed joined Caterpillar in 1997 as a marketing representative and was responsible for machine and aftermarket sales and dealer support and development in Canada. He became the region manager for North America and Europe aftermarket sales and later served as Canada district manager and country manager.
Moubayed has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
