Christy Pambianchi serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Caterpillar Inc. She has responsibility for all aspects of human capital, including talent acquisition and management, learning and development, culture, total rewards, HR operations, employee and labor relations, and corporate environmental, health and safety.
Before joining Caterpillar in 2025, Pambianchi served as CHRO for 18 years at various companies across multiple industries, most recently as the Chief People Officer at Intel, where she led human resources, corporate real estate, corporate social responsibility, and the company’s transformation management office. She has also held CHRO roles at Verizon and Corning, with responsibilities that included information technology and every aspect of human resources. She began her career at PepsiCo Inc., where she held roles in labor and employee relations, corporate organizational capability and HR IT transformation.
Pambianchi serves on the board of the Lumina Foundation. In 2017, she was inducted as a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources. Pambianchi holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
