Bart C. Myers

Bart Myers is a senior vice president of Caterpillar Inc., responsible for the Large Power Systems Division within the Energy & Transportation segment. Through this global organization, Caterpillar designs and manufactures the most comprehensive lineup of large diesel and natural gas engines in the industry, as well as the design and manufacturing of engine components and powertrains. The large engine product portfolio includes Cat, Perkins, and MWM branded products. Applications include Cat machines, electric power generation, marine, oil & gas, industrial, and locomotive. 

Myers joined Caterpillar in 1992 and has served in a variety of positions in engineering, sales and marketing. He most recently served as a vice president responsible for the Large Electric Power Solutions business. In this role, Myers provided global leadership over Caterpillar’s large diesel- and gas-powered generator sets, related electrical and hybrid products, sustainable energy solutions, and aftermarket services through Cat and MWM.

Myers holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 1993 and completed Caterpillar’s Executive Leadership Development Program in partnership with Stanford University.
