Powering

Without a doubt the world needs energy solutions to transport goods and people across countries and the world. But there’s an equally urgent need in developing countries for access to energy that will improve the standard of living and provide modern conveniences in a safe, sustainable manner. The connection between energy and thriving economies is real.

For nearly 90 years, Caterpillar has been designing and manufacturing engines that power the biggest, toughest machines in the planet’s harshest conditions – from desert heat to arctic cold, from deep below ground to thin-air elevations. These engines not only get the job done but meet stringent emissions and safety standards.

But we don’t stop there. We also power industries that drive global economies, and we move trains, trucks, vessels and ships that keep world commerce flowing. We power data centers, hospitals and schools … even sports venues and disaster relief efforts.

From traditional to alternative energy, Caterpillar is at the forefront of sustainable energy research, development and delivery. We offer flexibility through dual-fuel and hybrid solutions and ensure our products comply with stringent emission requirements globally.

Caterpillar will continue to work with our dealers and customers to build a better, more prosperous world through energy solutions. A world without power would be dark. We envision a tomorrow where businesses and industries thrive, and people everywhere have access to electricity – a more sustainable, safe world where bellies are full, children go to school, and families prosper.
