Acting as an important entry point to Caterpillar’s global parts distribution network, the facility provides parts supply and around-the-clock services to Caterpillar dealers in China and serves as Caterpillar aftermarket parts distribution center in China.

The Caterpillar China R&D Center aims to provide cost-competitive, world-class research and development in products, technologies, engineering services as well as supply chain management service. It supports Caterpillar’s global product teams and manufacturing facilities as well as the supply base across China, allowing Caterpillar to get closer to customers and take advantage of regional engineering talent to develop leading products.
