Educator Resources for the Caterpillar Visitors Center

Dear Educators,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to experience the Caterpillar Visitors Center! Since opening our doors on October 20, 2012, our focus has been to offer an exciting educational experience for students through interactive videos, detailed displays and simulators that allow them to see how equipment operates.

The Caterpillar Visitors Center is a fascinating look at the company, the iron and the people making sustainable progress possible around the world. From the humble beginnings of the first tractor to the company's present-day leadership in building infrastructure and powering the planet—it's all right here on Peoria's beautiful riverfront.

As we move into the new school year, we are proud to announce the release of our new student activities and curriculum plans, aligned to the Illinois Common Core State Standards in Mathematics and English/Language Arts and STEM Education. These fun and educational materials have been designed to provide a way to engage and educate students before, during and after their visit.

On this site, you will find information needed to plan your visit and access to our growing list of educational activities and games. Our goal at the Caterpillar Visitors Center is to continuously enhance our programs, exhibits and supplemental educational activities.

It has been our pleasure to host so many remarkable school groups in our first year. It is because of these students that we continually strive to improve the educational experience at our facility.

We hope to see you and your students this year at the Caterpillar Visitors Center!
