Caterpillar Visitors Center Heritage Display Showcases the “Love of the Brand”

Since the beginning, the people of Caterpillar have been passionate about the company and the brand. Generations have showcased their "yellow blood" in creative ways.

To honor this creativity, the Caterpillar Visitors Center recently opened a new "Love of the Brand" display in its Heritage Gallery. The display showcases the memorabilia of assemblers, operators, customers, retirees, executive officers and Caterpillar enthusiasts and exhibits pride in the company's products and people. No matter the resource, all of the displayed items originated from one commonality - the love of the brand.

Some of the featured items include: a jade tractor donated by the Peoria Riverfront Museum; matching engraved steel hard harts belonging to Group President Stu Levenick and CVC Gallery Host Jean Hurt; a wooden tractor donated by Chairman and CEO Doug Oberhelman; and a Lego tractor donated by Group President Steve Wunning.

The Caterpillar Visitors Center is located at 110 SW Washington Street in downtown Peoria, open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday (last ticket sold at 3:30 p.m.).
