PAC-MAN™ is iconic; one of the most famous video games ever developed. And Caterpillar is bringing it back center stage, 40 years after its release, as only the Cat® Trials can: at a scale of epic proportions! The Cat® Trial #9 puts Pac-Man and the ghosts back on the board. It brings the virtual world into a live action version of the popular video game.
For over 95 years, Caterpillar has been designing and manufacturing products that get the job done no matter what – from desert heat to arctic cold, from deep below ground to thin-air elevations. More than just offer products, we’ve made it a priority to ensure our customers succeed by providing critical services, building a world-class dealer network and applying innovation and technology to improve sustainability performance of our products, services, solutions and operations.
We’re proud of what our customers have accomplished – building critical infrastructure, powering cities, transporting goods – and proud of our team for supporting their unique challenges. So, to celebrate their work and our 95th year, we’re bringing back The Cat® Trials!
The trials involve accomplishing tasks that were limited only by imagination - a fun way to represent the unique challenges our customers face every single day. Over the years the Trials have shown our Cat® products and services accomplish some incredible feats in Gigantic Jenga, Tug-o-War with a Mountain, memorable trips to Rio de Janiero and a Chinese mountain side. (They even picked up two Guinness World Records along the way.)
These videos highlight the power, versatility and precision our products – including a 320E, TH514C, 277D, M316D, and 349E playing Jenga to a 793F that carried an entire golf green - bring to job sites and the critical nature of the services – from Cat Financial to the Cat Rental Store - that customers have come to depend on.
Now, the trials are coming back with a video featuring a challenge around every corner. It’ll be a trial you can really sink your teeth into. Come back on October 20 to see what’s next.
