Caterpillar Named a Best Global Brand by Interbrand 2019

Caterpillar has been ranked made the top 100 of Interbrand’s Best Global Brands. We ranked #76 with a value of $6.791 billion. This is the 18th consecutive year we’ve appeared on the list.

You’re on the list of growing brands. What does it mean to be a fast mover?

Caterpillar is also listed as one of the top growing brands with a 19 percent increase for the year. Interbrand explains, “One dimension this year’s group of fastest movers excels in is relevance, a testament to their ability to stay at the forefront of rapidly changing customer expectations within their respective industries.”

What are the main components of the ranking?

The company rankings are based on three key components. The primary measurement is the financial performance of the branded products and services, the other two components are in relation to the role the brand plays in influencing customer choice and the strength the brand has to command a premium price or secure earnings for the company. 

What does the Interbrand report analyze?
