Caterpillar Employee for 15 Years, Tractor Enthusiast Forever

Kevin Jarboe has been with Caterpillar for 15 years and a “tractor enthusiast” for as long as he can remember. An unlikely stroke at a young age almost cost Kevin his life, but didn’t dampen his spirits … or his determination to own and operate a piece of antique Cat® equipment. In March, several employees in our Athens, Georgia facility welcomed their then newest customer – CEO Doug Oberhelman. The K2 Family Small Track-Type Tractor team presented Doug with his newly purchased Cat® D5K2 LGP. Caterpillar Victoria Team Supports Troops and Warrior’s Weekend

For four years, employees in Victoria, Texas, have volunteered at Warrior’s Weekend, a series of events in South Texas that honors wounded veterans and their families. This summer, Fortune magazine named event founder and Caterpillar employee Ron Kocian as one of the “Heroes of the 500” for his dedication to the cause.
