Caterpillar Group President Denise Johnson was named to Fortune‘s “10 Most Powerful Women to Watch” list which spotlights women who are making an incredible impact on the world and are on their way to even greater achievements. The 2017 “Women to Watch” list names an impressive group of ‘business superstars’ from companies such as Starbucks, Instagram and Uber. The list is connected to the annual “Most Powerful Women” list – which also includes Caterpillar board member: Debra Reed.

About Denise: Denise is responsible for the resources industries portfolio that supports customers using machinery in mining, construction, and quarry and aggregates applications. Her role includes management of the enterprise global mining business, the enterprise technology strategy, enterprise procurement and the enterprise component design and manufacturing.
Throughout her career, Johnson has displayed clarity of direction and the ability to communicate strategy that influences entire organizations. She is thoroughly engaged in the development of the future pipeline of leaders, including as executive sponsor of Caterpillar’s Women in Leadership initiative.
