Eridan, 22, lives in Altamira, Brazil. She was born with a physical disability, called acute kyphosis that, for most of her life, made her very self conscious. After finishing secondary school, Eridan struggled to find work. She joined EquipYouth to improve her chances. During her training in customer service and administration, Eridan gained confidence and ultimately employment. Today, Eridan is working as a secretary at Norte Bombas, a local business that sells and maintains water pumps. "EquipYouth helped me see my potential," she says. "It helped me believe that nothing in life is impossible."
