EquipYouth Program Helps Young Father Provide for Family

Lucian dropped out of college when his girlfriend became pregnant. At 23, he enrolled in EquipYouth, an International Youth Foundation initiative that provides young men and women with market-relevant technical and life skills training, as well as job placement support and services. To date, more than 600 youths, including Lucian, have completed the program in South Africa. Now, Lucian is confident in his abilities, optimistic for the future, and has aspirations to give back to his community.
