Kevin lost his job and was forced to live on a limited budget. He struggled to get by while searching for new employment. Unable to pay his utility bills and afraid he would lose his home, Kevin found help at a Heart of Illinois United Way-funded food pantry. By providing basic life resources such as warm meals, these food pantries help people like Kevin maintain self-sufficiency and support their families and homes.
