Engineering Day 2023

Future engineers, scientists, and kids of all ages are invited to Engineering Day 2023 at the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitors Center. Exciting and engaging engineering activities will be provided throughout both museums by local engineering groups, who are also sponsoring general admission for this free day. Activities include:
SCAVENGER HUNT
Enhance your Engineering Day experience and learn more about the Peoria Riverfront Museum and Caterpillar Visitors Center by participating in the scavenger hunt. Submit your hunt guide at the end of the day and qualify for a cool prize! Guides will be available at the entrances.
TechTalks (30 minutes each) | Caterpillar Visitors Center Dining Room
Caterpillar engineers will share their technical expertise in these short, yet informative sessions, providing a brief overview of their experiences, followed by Q&A.
2:00 pm | Engineer-o-Rama – Meet and Greet Different Types of Engineers
3:00 pm | It’s Electric! – A High Level Overview of the Impact of Electrification
4:00 pm | Virtual is Reality – A Quick Glance at Virtual Product Development
31st ANNUAL ASCE BRIDGE CONTEST | Riverfront Museum Giant Screen Theater | 1:30 pm
American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) would like to extend an invitation to the 5th- 8th grade students at your school to compete in the 2022 ASCE Bridge Building Contest.
