Christopher (Chris) R. Snodgrass

Chris Snodgrass is a senior vice president of Caterpillar Inc., responsible for the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD). This division has global accountability for the design, procurement and manufacturing of wear and maintenance components sold into the aftermarket as well as assembled on current prime product applications. Concurrently, Snodgrass leads our worldwide parts distribution and integrated logistics organizations, encompassing inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing functions, packaging, container management, and product support. PSLD has more than 70 locations around the globe, serving our customers and dealers, with employees located in 23 countries across every continent.

Prior to PSLD, Snodgrass was responsible for the large engine business in Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) leading global sales, marketing, service and parts for the Perkins Engine Company Limited and across our Perkins Distribution network.

Snodgrass joined Caterpillar in 2013 following a successful 20-year career that included executive leadership positions with commercial vehicle and industrial components manufacturer Meritor after spending nearly 15 years at Daimler AG. While at Daimler, Snodgrass served in senior leadership roles at Mercedes Benz Truck Division in Europe, Freightliner Trucks in North America, and the global engine manufacturer Detroit Diesel Corporation.  

Snodgrass has a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, and completed Caterpillar’s Executive Leadership Development Program in partnership with Duke University. Snodgrass is also an executive sponsor for the Caterpillar African American Network (CAAN) Employee Resource Group.
