International Women’s Day has been observed on March 8 since the early 1900s. It's a collective day of global celebration and a call for gender equality.
Caterpillar believes that regardless of gender, the full value of each individual's contribution can be realized only when we treat one another with respect, trust and dignity. Addressing gender equality is the first step in a broader, more intentional diversity and inclusion journey. Because ultimately, Caterpillar believes that when employees with different opinions, experiences and backgrounds come together, innovation is born.
Kathryn Karol joined Caterpillar in 2012 as vice president of the Global Government & Corporate Affairs Division. She brings more than 25 years of global experience to Caterpillar, having previously served in as vice president of Global Government and Corporate Affairs at Amgen, Inc. and Executive Director for international government affairs and market access for Eli Lily and Company.Full Story
