She’s Been WIN-ing the Right Way for the Past 18 Years

Julie Jain began her Caterpillar career 18 years ago. In that time, she has held variety of roles in various functions and locations, and through all that there has been one constant – her passion for diversity. Jain puts that passion to work as a chairperson for Caterpillar’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) in Singapore.

“I [accepted this role] because I’m passionate about accelerating change and making a difference,” said Julie, “The Women’s Initiative Network is here to inspire and support individuals to be themselves at work and reach their full potential, while driving awareness of the importance of gender balance.”

She recently shared that vision through a WIN summit in Singapore that brought customers, dealers and employees together to embrace and accelerate change.

“This idea started as a lunch discussion on a paper napkin. Bringing it to reality was a real breakthrough. We got so much support from different levels of the organization.”

On a broader scale Julie says she appreciates the focus Caterpillar puts on inclusion and conscious efforts being made to hire a diverse workforce. She says Caterpillar works to develop the best team to build innovative solutions for our global customers, deliver superior results for our stakeholders, and positively impact our people and the communities we serve.

“I feel like that I work with the most intellectual curious people in the world. We all work together to bring out best of each other.”
