Celebrating Black History Month

February 1, 2022

For more than 80 years, Black employees have been a key component to drive success and innovation at Caterpillar. Each of their contributions have elevated the company and built a better, more inclusive future. Watch the video below to learn more about the people that have driven change and continue to shape Caterpillar history today.

This history started decades ago and continues every day. We continue to make important investments in initiatives through the Caterpillar African American Network (CAAN), the Caterpillar Foundation and our local businesses. Some notable examples include OneTen and the African American Museum of History and Culture, which support diversity and inclusion and reflect our employees’ interests and passions in the communities where we live and work.

We’re proud of our progress and we are committed to continuing our journey and strengthening a culture of inclusion where everyone does their best work – that’s the Power of Everyone.
