The Human Resources (HR) Professional Development Program provides the foundation needed for success and leadership in Human Resources at Caterpillar. Our employees are the core of our business, and as an HR professional you will interact with employees of all levels across the globe every day doing work that matters.

You will begin a career with Caterpillar as an active participant in a three-year program performing a variety of complex assignments within our HR community, spending one year in a business unit, one year as a global process owner and one year in a shared services environment. When the rotations are complete you will be placed in an assignment that best fits your career goals.

Your HR expertise matters, and we people who have:

  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
  • Bachelor's degree in (preferred, but not limited to): human resources, communications, business administration, business management, etc.
  • Willingness to relocate during the three-year program and afterwards
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
