
Tana L. Utley is vice president of Industrial Power Systems & Growth Markets Division at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Ill.
Utley joined the company in 1986 and has held a variety of engineering and management positions. Utley led the Electronic & Electrical Systems business unit in Caterpillar's Motion & Power Control Division. She also has served as the director of Engine Design, Large Engine Products & Fuel Systems Division.
Utley has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University and a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied as a Sloan Fellow.
She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and Society of Automotive Engineers. She is also a member of the Executive Advisory Council for the Bradley University College of Engineering and Technology, the Board of Directors of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Board of Directors of Peoria NEXT—an economic development organization dedicated to growing and commercializing new technologies in Central Illinois.
