
Paolo Fellin is vice president of worldwide Sales & Marketing, Construction & Infrastructure Industries.
Fellin, a native of Italy, has been with Caterpillar for 32 years. He was first named a Caterpillar vice president for the EAME Marketing Division in 2004, following a series of positions with increasing possibilities in sales and marketing, product development and operations for Caterpillar in Europe/CIS, Africa, the Middle East and the U.S.
From 1992 to 1999, Fellin was product manager for Caterpillar's small track hydraulic excavators, based in Grenoble, France and then wheel loaders product manager in Gosselies, Belgium. In 1999 he became general manager of Caterpillar Work Tools and Services in North America.
In 2003, he was appointed industry manager for Caterpillar's North American Commercial Division (NACD) with responsibility for heavy industries, general construction, paving, forestry, industrial, work tools and governmental sectors of the company's North American marketing division. In 2004, the Caterpillar Board of Directors named Fellin vice president of EAME Marketing Division, and in January 2009, vice president of EAME Distribution Services. In 2012, the Board of Directors named Fellin vice president, worldwide Sales & Marketing Construction & Infrastructure Industries as of January 1, 2013.
Fellin holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellog Graduate Business School at Northwestern University.
Since 2005, Fellin is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift (MCF) companies, a joint venture of Caterpillar and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). He is also a vice chairman of the Regional Council of United Way Worldwide Europe. He is also on the Executive Committee of AMCHAM Europe.
