Caterpillar's Information Technology Professionals work in a team environment to define, develop, implement, integrate and support world-class information systems that accelerate business outcomes for Caterpillar globally. A wide range of challenging technical opportunities exist at Caterpillar, including software application development and deployment, infrastructure management, mobility solution development and deployment, adoption of collaboration tools and configuration and integration of third party software tools. 

A few of the tools and skills currently used include: JAVA, .Net, C++, C, C#, LINUX, SAP ECC, SAP Business Objects and Teradata.

In addition to these positions, we also have analysts specializing in a business function to support deployment related activities for that function. They work closely with target deployment sites to localize the Caterpillar SAP template to the site's business and legal requirements, support transformation to enterprise business processes, map and load legacy system data into SAP, participate in systems and user acceptance testing and train local users.
