Caterpillar enthusiasts of all ages will be entertained with an interactive tour of the Caterpillar story of how today's work is building tomorrow's world here in Illinois and around the world.

Sit in the bed of a giant Cat^® 797 Mining Truck, virtually visit remote Caterpillar customers' job sites, design your own Cat equipment and hop on a simulator to train like the professionals.

Progress continues to be made every day on the Caterpillar Visitors Center! Below are some construction highlights and a peek inside.

A massive Cat ^® 797 mining truck sits in the Caterpillar Visitors Center. Assembly of the machine is almost complete. Climb in and virtually descend into a customer's mine site down a haul road.

The Caterpillar Visitors Center will have several galleries focusing on our people, heritage, customers and innovation. Floor-to-ceiling murals will surround interactive exhibits and information on how Caterpillar helps ours customers make progress possible.
