We need your vote! Caterpillar & The First Response Team of America named a finalist for Partnership of the Year Award

Caterpillar and First Response Team of America were recently selected as finalists for the 2012 Best Partnership Award presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC).

BCLC’s Best Partnership Award recognizes a business-nonprofit collaboration dedicated to achieving high impact and sustainable results. Caterpillar and First Response Team were nominated for their life-saving relief efforts benefitting victims of natural disasters.

This year’s Best Partnership Award recipients will be determined by online voting. To cast your vote for Caterpillar and First Response Team, please visit bclc.uschamber.com/vote and select “vote now.” Voting closes November 2, 2012. Winners will be announced December 6, 2012.

Utilizing product donations from Caterpillar and Cat dealers, financial support from the Caterpillar Foundation and strategic guidance from Caterpillar leadership, First Response Team maximizes its effectiveness in the wake of natural disasters. First Response Team offers direct support to disaster responders and uses Caterpillar equipment to clear roads, provide power and remove rubble.
