
Frank Crespo is vice president and chief procurement officer of Caterpillar Inc. with responsibility for the Global Purchasing Division. He has responsibility for leading Caterpillar’s global procurement strategy and the company’s relationship with its supply base.
Crespo joined Caterpillar in August 2010 from Honeywell International Inc., where he was vice president and chief procurement officer responsible for setting strategic direction, developing and managing the supplier base, driving supplier alliance relationships, and building and delivering people excellence within the organization. Crespo, who joined Honeywell in 2007, brings over 20 years of high-tech industry and military procurement and business experience to this position.
Crespo, a native of Pittsburg, California, received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Crespo serves on the National Advisory Council and the Supply Chain Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Business, Brigham Young University and as a member of the Board of Trustees for Proctor Hospital.
