Caterpillar Ranks as Fortune 50 Company

Fortune Magazine released its 2013 ranking of America's largest corporations and named Caterpillar in the top 50 companies.

Following a year of record sales and profits in 2012, Caterpillar ranked No. 42 on the list - a four place improvement over last year. Caterpillar was also recognized as a Fortune 500 "social media star" for its corporate social media profiles, including Facebook and YouTube.
