Caterpillar Ranked One of Ten Best Companies for Leaders in 2013
Chief Executive magazine has ranked Caterpillar as the sixth best company for leaders, moving up from last year's #9 ranking. Some of the criteria for this award included having a formal leadership process and a CEO committed to leadership development.
"When you look at great companies, you find that leadership development is a priority. Leaders are building leaders, who are building more leaders all the way through the organization. And that's what we are going to do at Caterpillar" said Chief Executive Officer Doug Oberhelman.
