Caterpillar Foundation Partnership Will Help More Than 11,000 Children

The Caterpillar Foundation recently partnered with The Resource Foundation to help more than 11,000 children in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The program will help children improve academic achievement, gender equity and life skills. The initiative will provide disadvantaged children with improved educational curriculum and teacher training, educational reinforcement and community support networks.

"The Caterpillar Foundation is proud to support the efforts of The Resource Foundation in Latin America," said Caterpillar Foundation President Michele Sullivan. "It is our hope that focusing on strengthening the basics like reading comprehension will give these students a tremendous advantage in making the transition to secondary school, higher education and, ultimately, sustainable employment."
