Bloomberg Television highlights research and development at Caterpillar

Bloomberg Television's "Street Smart" highlighted a video detailing Caterpillar's research and development (R&D) process at the Caterpillar Research and Development Center in Edwards, Ill.

Carol Masser of Bloomberg Television visited the proving grounds, where she discussed the amount of testing that goes into prototypes and remotely test-drove a Cat^® D11 Bulldozer.

Masser noted the amount of time and money denoted to R&D helps Caterpillar spot trends, allows operators to virtually test-drive machines before developing a prototype and helps invest in the future.
