Recognizing an opportunity to help customers and dealer sales people navigate through the expansive selection, Cat Financial recently introduced a simple web tool - the Financial Solutions Selector - that matches the right product or service for the customer's business. "Reviewing the entire offerings can be overwhelming, because not every Cat Financial product is applicable to every type of customer," said Marketing Manager Hartono Tanuwidjaja. "This tool simplifies the process, helping ensure that the products and services a customer reviews are truly relevant to his or her business needs."
Accessed through www.catfinancial.com (click "Financing & Insurance," and then "Business Resources"), the tool prompts customers to answer a series of basic questions related to their specific business, and then returns suggested financial products or solutions for consideration. It's quick. It's easy. And it's effective.
The tool is great for dealers, too, helping sales personnel - and especially Inside Sales Reps (ISRs) and new Sales Reps - streamline and expedite the process of finding the right financial products to recommend to their customers. "It also empowers dealers with a quick source of information to appropriately guide customers on finance issues," said Hartono. Plus, this tool is compatible with mobile devices like smart phones and tablets, allowing dealers to pull up Cat Financial information on-the-go.
"We looked at our product offerings from the customer's perspective, and developed this tool to simplify the process of doing business together," Hartono added.
