Employees Prepare for 2013 Perkins Great Eastern Run
Employees at Perkins’ Peterborough, UK, headquarters recently celebrated the launch of the 2013 Perkins Great Eastern Run program, which will take place later this year. Enthusiastic runners and committed sponsors gathered to prepare for the October race.
The Perkins Great Eastern Run includes a Half Marathon, Fun Run and Wheelchair Race. The entire Peterborough community, and many people in the surrounding area, participate in the race, whether as a runner or volunteer. Many participants run to raise money for local charities. Perkins supports its employees who take part and run in aid of its Charity of the Year partner by matching the total fundraising amount. Perkins demonstrates our commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work.
