Work.Life.Solutions, Caterpillar's Employee Assistance Program, provides you and your family with professional assistance in addressing personal problems that may affect your health, job and wellbeing. This confidential, voluntary service is offered free of charge to you and your dependent family members. Information, counseling and referrals are available to address depression, anxiety, marital and relationship problems, alcohol and drug abuse, work performance issues, legal and financial issues, help finding child or eldercare, identity theft support, and legal and financial problems — many personal issues that may challenge your life at home or work.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Healthcare: Employees may set aide a minimum of $75 and up to $2,500 each calendar year in a healthcare FSA to pay for eligible healthcare expenses not covered by the health plan. This would include items such as deductibles, co-insurance, contact lenses and vision care, prescription drugs, co-pays, dental treatment, orthodontic.
A dependent care FSA can be used to pay for eligible dependent care expenses, such as daycare for a child, home care for a dependent parent, or special care for physically handicapped dependents.
Paid Time Off
Caterpillar provides all employees with paid time off for vacation, holidays, bereavement and jury duty. Paid time off policies vary by location.
